When we stayed at CBR I just had to get those mugs. After a few days of use, I wished that I would have gotten some dish soap. Just rinsing them out with hot water wasn't enough, especially if your kids like to drink the orange drink, not to mention the coffe stain that builds up. So my suggestion is this. There is a new product out in stores, that has soap on a throw away cloth,so you can wash your mugs. It's a small container that won't take up much space in your luggage either.Just a little advice I thought I would pass along.

palmolive dishwipes

They come in a box of 20 for about $2.00. They are big enough to only have to use half.

I know, I'm weird, but I pack "contingency" items when I travel. One of those is a 2 oz. bottle of dishwashing liquid. It's quite convenient for hand washing stuff when one's checked bag goes astray, as well as washing mugs or other items.

It has been used a number of times!

I'm staying at Old Key West, in the round-abouts, how much do these mugs actually cost, just curious. And where can I get one of those countdown clocks.

The mugs are $11.99 and good for unlimited refills for the length of your stay. You can get a countdown timer here (http://www.wdisneyw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23765)

But mainly for use only at the resort where you are staying.

And last I knew, some resorts required a small payment? OKW used to charge ($1 or so) for the refills. Not sure if they still do that as I've not used a mug in a long time.

But, they are only good for the resort where purchased, and only for the length of stay (as per the new policy).

It is for the resort in which your staying only with the exception of "sister" resorts (I.E. All-Stars or Port Orleans)

I bought the mugs a couple of times; one at Dixie Landings (PO-R) & one at WL because I knew I'd be visiting them again. Then they went & changed the rules by only allowing them for the time of stay. I dont' think they are really that good of a deal unless as a souvenier. I just dont' like either having to tote the darn things around whatever theme park we are going too or making a trip back to the room after eating to take them back. Plus, I think they are pricey.

For me in december, I saved a ton of money by getting a mug. I had decided not to get one but after coming down with a very nasty cold, I got one so I could get hot tea. After 3 days, the mug paid for itself (I was there for 9 days). I did have diet coke in the room that I had brough with me (I had a fridge) so I wasn't planning on getting a mug. I'm glad I did though
