Er.. I have a thin squidgy computer screen, you know the one... where if you poke it with your finger it looks like it`s got water in it? Well... how do I clean it, no matter what I try it still looks greasy and fingerprints all over it. Is there something you can buy? Thanks for the help XXX

I have used mr sheen on my hifi support unit, which is glass shelved, had no problems with the stuff smearing, I am assuming that the wipes are just wipes with mr sheen in them?

I wouldn't use mr sheen either I must say :/ I'm sure some of the cheapy wipes are no better, maybe worse, but the *proper* tft screen cleaners are wonderful, no smears and no damage or *gulp* scratching

one of my friends who looks after a forest of pcs, swears by a special brand of screen cleaner, I keep forgetting the name though, I'll ask him tomorrow.

I use glass wipes courtesy of Air France. They use them for their pc screens, instrument panels in the cockpit etc. Running short on them though since Geoff moved up to Flightline in Aberdeen!

We use baby wipes to polish shoes.

And we only clean our TV screen when grandparents visit - apparently they can't see through handprints, chocklit, sossidge smears, etc.

a handy tip for dusting tv screens- use a tumble drier sheet- it stays dust free for longer :D

Is Mr Sheen not a glass cleaner? I have used it before with no issues, so called screen wipes are just snake oil in my opinion, and probably cost the earth

i think that furniture polish has wax in it and is not to be used on plastic or glass- it will smear

i think that furniture polish has wax in it and is not to be used on plastic or glass- it will smearJust that it says that it can be used on glass, has not smeared mine, not sure about the wipes though, but the wipes are meant to be just that, impregnated with mr sheen.
In my army days, if the glass was smeared the searge would say it was down to me, not mr sheen  , he would say I was'nt polishing enough and quickly send me to the play pen for some polishing practice :rotfl:

i don't recommend you touching your squidgy squeen, because it'll leave streaks if you press it too hard. :)
