A few weeks ago I made my PS for H&V for 4:30. I understood the CM to say that they won't open up any later seatings because the December hours had not yet been released and that they didn't as yet have the time of the show. So, I have been patiently (or not so) waiting for the Dec. hrs. to come out, and they did! Then today I spent 45 minutes on hold trying to change my seating to something later, since the show starts at 7PM. When the CM finally answered, I was told that they wouldn't release later seatings until about a week before the show and to call back then. Is this correct?

Even booking for an 8 pm show, the latest seating I've gotten was 4 pm

Fantasmic Pkg PS's are notoriously early I'm afraid Tammi.
I've never got later than 4.45pm. :(

Oh, okay then. I just assumed since the park was open until 8PM that there would be later seatings. And I wanted something that would take us right up to the time for queuing up so we wouldn't have alot of time to kill. Oh well....thanks.

Hollywood & Vine, Brown Derby and Mama Melrose. Occasionally they will add '50's Prime Time, but this is rare.

We got 4pm many months before for a 7.30pm show.
We went to MK all day (it was a Friday), then went across to MGM, got a fastpass fot RRC, had dinner, then had enough time to use FP and get on another few rides before the 7.30 show. We did not feel as though we were waiting around.

Isn't 4pm (or thereabouts) terribly early to eat your dinner though?

I usually eat an early lunch and then dinner. Generally need a snack later in the evening though

Isn't 4pm (or thereabouts) terribly early to eat your dinner though? :unsure:We had our dinner at 4:30 at H&V. I tried to eat an early/lite lunch, but I still wasn't really hungry at dinner time. H&V is a buffet and you either have to starve yourself until dinner or eat maybe just an early breakfast.
We ate at 4:30 and then had just enough time to hurry over to the last showing of Beauty and the Beast, which is right next to Fantasmic, so we didn't really have a lot of "waiting around." We did go into Fantasmic a little earlier than we needed to, but it was fun to people watch, get cotton candy for the kids, and do the "wave" that bored spectators would start.

We had a 4.30pm PS for an 8pm show. We had a late breakfast and no lunch and were pretty hungry by the time 4.30pm came around. Wish it could have been later though.

Okay, I have a question about this. In Dec 03 my DH and I took the kids and we were there an hour before the show and walked in with everyone else and got a decent seat. It could have been better but I am not complaining. However, now I am hearing that alot of people aren't getting there early enough to see it because it fills us quickly. I will be there in mid-April should we do PS for this show? I really want the folks going with me to see it.

Well, since you'll be eating anyway, book the package, it doesn't cost any more than the price of your meal. The seats are great, and we were only there 20 mins before it started......and that was in the middle of the summer.

Okay, I will book it when I book our breakfast with Pooh. I really want my mom and sisters to see this show and this way I can be sure. My next question would be which of the restaurants does everyone prefer? I have never eaten at any of them so I don't know much about them except what I find here. Thanks.

We went to Holleywood and Vine (which is the cheapest). It's a buffet, so there's something for everyone, with a few things that are a bit different as well which is nice. It's also a show kitchen, which I always like.
............ooooo, and the ice cream bar must be experienced!

Wow, sounds yummy. I think that would probably be the best one since we all have different tastes. Do they really charge your card when you book this package?

No, I don't believe they do! We were there (H&V) for Thanksgiving dinner, 11/04. It was very good , I had to give a credit card at the time I made the reservation, but we were not charged anything in advance. If you don't keep your reservation and fail to cancel 48hrs. prior they say they will charge you credit card. I don't remember how much though. I think it's worth doing the dinner package, good seats, don't have to get there as early.
