Epcot in the morning to do Futureworld. Early evening in Celebration to hear the carol singers and see the snow fall.
Does anyone know until what date in December you can see these carol singers and the snow fall?
How far is Celebration from Orlando's International Drive area?
Anyone actually been to Celebration in December - if so, what was it like?
:)

Can't help you with times, Isafari, but I've been to Celebration.
It's about twenty minutes or so from the I-Drive area. It's right on 192, you can't miss it.
What is it like? Small town. Small town, with big restrictions. It's ok to visit there, quaint and all, but I'd not like living there one bit.
It's done up quite nicely for the Holiday season and they "make it snow," too. At least they have done so in the past.
If you're looking for something super laid back to do, I'd say give it a go, especially since you've not ever been there. I'd like to hear your impressions of the place! :)

It felt as though we were on a film set when my DW and I went to Celebration a couple of years ago.
Everything seemed surreal. A couple of cars even stopped so that we could cross the street, and we were`nt at a pedestrian crossing point..very weird.
Don`t think I would like to live there either, but it is worth a visit for the experience.

Thanks Lesley - off to check it out now :) The day I was thinking of going to Celebration would be the evening of our vow renewal - sounded quite romantic if there are carol singers and snow falling  That would be 29th December

Can't find out about the carol singers - just that they sing every night but, it doesn't say what times. :(
