It is... but there's a snag <G>
They are very careful about how often they come and ask you what you want to drink and just try finding them in between those times to ask them ;-)
To be more fair, it depends on your server. Some are more generous than others *AND* you're there for I guess a couple of hours or less... so there's kinda a time limit ;-) you can't sit there all night drinking. I guess I'd say the normal amount of beer/wine assuming you just wait for your server to ask ;-) would be two glasses followed by a coffee at the end.
We had the same server a couple of times last year... the first time she was giving me wine in MASSIVE beer type glasses and very happy I was too :) the next time she told me that they were cracking down on the drinks and said "ask me for ice cubes in the wine ;-) believe it or not, I'm allowed to use the big glasses if there's ice in it".

Thank you, that is useful information! I had this daydream of me sucking down wine like a female Dionysus while men in skirts with flaming batons danced circles around me. Oh well. Maybe we'll do that next trip

Hey, is the Hoop-De-Doo the same, in terms of being slow on service with the wine or beer? Should I ask for the big glass with ice there? For a hooping time for an evening, two 4oz. glasses of wine just wouldn't do it for me. I guess I'm a hog. Plus, you're paying pretty price for 'all you care to eat and drink'. Ya know?

I agree with you Keith... there is a limit to how much you can drink in a couple of hours... but it DOES depend on the server.
We had a wonderful server who kept bringing glasses of red wine :D but that doesnt happen all the time

For the Hoop de doo - if you order beer they will bring you a pitcher of it, same with the Sangria and they will refill as necessary
Wine they will bring by the glass and they are pretty good about refilling it. Because they keep coming back to see if you need more food

Cool. Thanks for the answers. I'll be sure to save up my Weight Watchers points for the wine that night! :rotfl:

Hoop dee doo was definitely better and the servers seem happier and more willing to refill
