Have a few questions...

Was wondering if the SoG room keys also act as the room charge cards like the other resorts?

Do the buses run less frequently at SoG than other resorts..do they share bus runs with neighboring hotels?

I'm a little worried that because this it's owned by the government that it won't have that "disney magic" feel...please tell me i'm wrong!

Thanks everyone!

No, they do not have charging priviledges apart from right on the SOG property itself.

The good news--SOG has their own buses. One bus drops you off at the TTC center. I believe this bus runs every 30 mins. I believe there is another bus that takes you over to MGM and AK. I have stayed at SOG a half dozen times, but I have taken the bus exactly twice during all those visits, so I am a little hazy on the specific details.

I was delighted with the new changes they made with the latest construction. The lobby is truly awesome. It is a very nice resort--with a little bit of theming. The parking garage is very, very nice in the blazing heat of summer (or if it starts to rain cats and dogs).
I wouldn't say Disney Magic feeling comes to mind, but I do think it is a very nice, well maintained place in the heart of WDW in a resort enviroment that is a very comfortable place to stay with some additional amenities (such as a coffee maker already in your room upon check in) that you wouldn't get a Disney Hotel.
