Magic Kingdom Manic Mondays?

Hi all,
We are visiting Disney in about 2 weeks. We are Disney veterans, but have never attended MNSSHP before. We have tix for Halloween night. Very excited! But while we are there, we have the choice of visiting the Magic Kingdom an additional day, (which we will be doing) But the choice is either Saturday or Monday. I have always heard the Magic Kingdom is crazy on Mondays. Should we avoid monday all together?
What have been your experience?

I have found the weekends to be the worst (with Saturday the worst of the two) at MK

Saturday has always been manic in my experience, even off-season.

With both Saturday being busy with locals and new Guests, and Sunday being Early Entry day, Monday can be a good day of the week to visit MK. Of your two days, I would do Monday. It will be busy both those two days, but I agree with Jo and JM in that it's your better day.

Ah rats! I'd never heard that MK was busy on Mondays. I have that down as a day to go. Shoot, now I may have to redo my whole schedule. You think after all these years I'd no good days from bad days.

The manic Mondays just applie to MK, AK and EP are the best places to go on monday
