Bug question.

'Tink, SM or anyone else in the vicinity.

I've just bought some Insect repellant with 50% DEET, should I have gone for the 100% DEET?

The bugs luuuvvvv me, and I do have a problem with allergic swelling when they feast on me.

Shall I take it back and change it for the stronger?
It's only for me, no kidlets involved, and I'll be spraying my clothes rather than my skin.

Go with the strongest you can get, Whitequeen. With all the standing water from the Hurricanes, there is a huge, vicious, hungry population of mosquitoes this year! :(

You'll certainly want to spray your clothes, but you'll probably need to spray any exposed skin too. :(

Oh oh...sounds lkike WQ has the exact same problem as me.. lil soft sweet baby skin that they love to feast on (looking at lumps) although I didn`t do too bad this time around, the onbes that did get thru tho were as Tink says VICIOUS. Do all you can hun to git those critters.

Well, they're gone from here around that time...
They're still here now...we've got about the same type of weather as Orlando, that's what makes it so easy to pack for me.

We are having about the same here at the moment Bev, although I hear it's a bit unseasonal...I know the mosquitos are AWFUL here right now though...Baleigh almost got carried off by them last night...

We always manage to catch a cold for the last few days and I'm convinced its from the aeroplane. Is it just us?
