:sigh:
Wow. Finally got it sorted. Now upgraded windows to XP.
All was going well till norton conflicted with service pack 2 on XP then norton wouldnt uninstall completely or re- install. (Had put new sound card in by then.)
Had to re-set everything, then XP wouldn't install with the new sound card in..........etc etc.
Just got a few things to install (printer, bluetooth, camera, smiley central) then I think we are OK.
All this cos Summer Breeze wants napster to download music to her new phone (keeps talking about an I-Pod too)

Think I might have a problem. As I am typing some of the letters do not print. Sometimes you have to hit a key several times to get the letter to show.

Thought youwrewy thisissapleof hatishapening.
It should read thought you were away. This is a sample of what is happening.
Think un-instaling sp2 sounds good cos it tried to conflict with norton on instaling.

I was reading that before you even install SP2, you're supposed to run Adaware, or spybot or something to make sure all that spy ware is off your computer. Then turn off your computer, reboot and run adaware or spybot or whatever...AGAIN!!!
Then if your computer is clean...then download sp2.
How the heck do you uninstall SP2??
