Fuming my husband job said he cannot take the end of April off for vacation...

We have plans for April 30th to go to disney for 8 nights. Thank God I have not booked a flight yet. Now we are looking at June, any suggestions?

I have the same issues with my job. Legally, the company can't tell me when and when not to take my vacation but they certainly point out that they frown on certain dates.

Oh yeah, try working for Disney and asking for holidays off. THAT'S a no no.

He is going into day and letting them know we have already placed reservations. I am so bummed out, I dont want to spend all that money and be misrable with the heat and crowds. This is why we planned for April 30th so it would be enjoyable. I know in the past we have went a day in June and one in March and it was so hot and so crowded hard to enjoy yourselves.. Ugggg the only other option would be March 25th (our spring break) and I know it would be worse. Lets pray they will give him the green light from higher up today..

:hug: Good luck Tammy - I really hope that they agree to letting him go in April. We are so lucky neither DH or myself ever have a problem taking holidays. In DH's case, because he works for a government body, he can take hols at a days notice!

That is a bummer but if you try to go as early in June as possible it may not be that bad. We were there this past June 5th-10th. As long as we got to the parks at opening we managed to do a lot. They are open later too and maybe they will have e nights.
