...on Disney Cruise Lines?
A friend of mine asked me this, when my DW and DS were cruising to Alaska. We are veteran cruisers, but we never have been on DCL.
For us, when we cruise, we usually meet 10 or so families, and we are really good friends with one or two of them. We love meeting people!

I love the fact that EVERYTHING is taken care of... you have a hotel, a restaurant, and entertainment center, a casino, a library, a transport and lots of places to visit allin one package!!!!

We love that you unpack once & you're set. If you forget something, all you have to do is run down a few decks & get it (sweater for dinner, sunscreen, etc.) Also, as others have said, that everything is taken care of. I like that I can try new foods w/no worries. If I don't like it, I can order something I know I'll like instead (& not pay double).

I like everything there is about cruising.
The food, visiting new places, meeting new people etc., but most of all I like the relaxation time on board. Reading a good book on the comfortable recliners on deck 4 during the days at sea looking out over the ocean is sheer bliss...wish I was there now!

Reading this thread has gotten me even more excited for my April Disney cruise. I don't know what my favorite thing will be about cruising since I haven't been yet. I do think the food and the relaxing will be great.
