It's ok.. not as good as I expected but still an ok evening out.

Food is about medium for a dinner show. ie. it's not good but it's edible. You won't be going back for the food though put it that way.

The show itself is entertaining... quite fun although nothing I'm in a rush to see again.

Compared to other dinner shows, hoop dee doo is WAY better good/show wise.... medieval times was a better show wise, same food wise.

Never been to the Orlando one, but have been to the Pigeon Forge (original) one about 4-5 times. It's basically a rodeo show with some Hee-Haw type humor, stale jokes, kids from the audience trying to catch chickens, a pig race, riding and roping exhibitions. All in all its good family entertainment if you are not too sophisticated.

As for the food, it is served without tableware. No forks. No spoons. No knives. So all the food is picked up and eaten with your hands. A whole cornish hen (baked), half a baked potato in the skin, corn on the cob, rolls, an apple turnover for dessert. When my son Marcus was 16 he had fun making his chicken stand up and dance. We all had a good laugh because it was out of character for him. The point is, the good times there are contagious. Nothing that will win awards, but you are satisfied you had a good time when you leave.

I have not been to the one in Florida, but we live just a couple of hours away from the one in Pigeon Forge. The first time I went I really liked it and during the holiday season they have a Christmas show that is really beautiful. I thought the food was OK, but my DD absolutely loves it! Her birthday is at the end of December and it has become her tradition (her choice) to go there for her birthday! Of course she loves horses and such. For me it was something that I did and enjoyed but not something that I would go to over and over again.
