Where would you put yourself on the Disney FANatic scale?
When I talk to friends/neighbors or even strangers about WDW it quickly becomes apparent that they think I've gone a bit over the edge (not that I care) when it comes to Disney. BUT when I go online to a Disney board I'm not nearly as "over the edge" (and I mean that in a good way) as some of my fellow board members.
On a scale of 1 to 10 I would only give myself a 6.5...Okay maybe a 7 in my own personal FANaticalness.
Basis for rating can be calculated by averaging the following (please feel to add your own)...
*Time spent reading/thinking and talking about Disney.
*Number of times you have visited a Disney park.
*Your desire to go to Disney (even though the pocketbook isn't sharing in your enthusiasm)
*Collecting Disney paraFANalia... Do you decorate, wear and live with Disney products when you can't be there?
*Are your dreams (while you sleep) influenced in anyway by Disney. [Please explain, use as much space as is needed]
***Extra credit - do you have more than one Disney trip planned at a time and/or do you sincerely (money down, date picked kinda thing) start planning your next trip before you have returned or the moment you are back from a trip. I think we call that "Chain-Tripping"...there is no "patch" for this kind of addiction.

I guess on a scale of 1 to 10 I am a 100!!!!!
I ALWAYS have more than one trip in the planning.
Although all my dreams aren't Disney dominated, many are!
I do crafting based, occasionally, on Disney themes.
Since I admin this site, I spend a LOT of time discussing and reading about WDW.
We've been to WDW so many times I lost sight of the amount! And can't wait to go back!

*Time spent reading/thinking and talking about Disney.
*Number of times you have visited a Disney park. = 1 two days before my CP started, at least 8 during my CP (not while working of course, although I was known to take a sick day or two to go there  )
*Your desire to go to Disney (even though the pocketbook isn't sharing in your enthusiasm) = 10/10
*Collecting Disney paraFANalia... Do you decorate, wear and live with Disney products when you can't be there? = 4/10 I wear what I own on a consistant basis (I only have 4 pins and a shirt)
*Are your dreams (while you sleep) influenced in anyway by Disney. [Please explain, use as much space as is needed] = 10/10 almost every night I dream about being around one of the characters :D (probably more, but the characters are what I remember)
= I'm planning a trip, and then moving down to Orlando to work for Disney after that, does that count?
I'd say 6/10 with occasional bursts of 8/10

All of the above...and if I were rich .....ah well, a girl can dream.
Even my family, who also love Disney, say I'm obsessed. :D

Basis for rating can be calculated by averaging the following (please feel to add your own)...
*Time spent reading/thinking and talking about Disney. at least 6 times a day
*Number of times you have visited a Disney park. this is into the 100's of times
*Your desire to go to Disney (even though the pocketbook isn't sharing in your enthusiasm) I want to be at Disneyland EVERYDAY
*Collecting Disney paraFANalia... Do you decorate, wear and live with Disney products when you can't be there? ummmm my whole house has at least 1 Disney thing in each room

ALWAYS as i am leaving the park I am thinking to myself when the best time to go back is

Hmmmmm...
Probably about a 5 or so. I'm a laid-back Disney fan! :D
Reading is limited to this website, for the most part.
I've been to Disneyland so many times I lost count. Until age 30, I was there at least 30 times each year, probably closer to 40! Similar to 'Tink going to EPCOT almost weekly, we did the same with Disneyland. Haven't been there the last few years, though.
Have been to WDW only three times, with a fourth trip planned this December. The first time I was there, MK was WDW!
Don't have a lot of Disney stuff in the house and since I don't wear off-the-rack clothing very often, don't have any Disney clothing! I have my Sleeping Beauty Castle (Disneyland) pewter salt & pepper shakers on a little pewter tray that my parents bought for me just after Disneyland opened. You can tell they're early--plain blue box, no graphics! I have two decks of cards from my 1981 trip (unused) and an 3-D etched glass of Cinderella's Castle something-or-other (no idea what it's called!) on a lighted base that Leu bought me on our August, 2003, trip. Oh, and I have WDW Water Park characters--2 Minnies and 1 Mickey--sitting on top of my CPU that need to be shipped to Leu's grandchildren!
Probably have some postcards and stuff from my 1981 trip packed away some where. If I ever find them, Donna has first dibs! Not sure if they survived all of the moves, though!
Would love to be able to visit WDW and vicinity for about two weeks every two years. Since I love to travel, that isn't likely to happen! Too many places to see and too few $$$$ with which to do it!
Other than determining if a June, 2005, trip to Disneyland to meet DC and other UOG members is feasible, the only other one in the works is a vague plan for Leu & I to take her grandchildren to WDW in two or three years. Self-employment and vacations are not very compatible!
Definitely a laid-back fan! :)
