Sweet Tomatoes

I'm thinking about trying this restaurant on my next trip. Has anyone ever eaten there - what is the quality like? Is there another restaurant chain you would compare it to? Thanks.

Can't think of anything to compare it to. I had it for dinner last night :)

It's a buffet. When you walk it, there's about 50 feet of salad stuff to start with. Fill up your plate, pay and then sit. There are also pastas, pizza, breads, soups, potatoes and a soft ice cream and other desert area. I get a large salad as take-out quite often.

JM recommended it to us last year and we really liked it. It made a nice change from the usual buffet selections. DD loved having her pasta cooked fresh in front of her. I liked the soups and the pizza was pretty yummy too :D

When I eat salad I want a whole lot of stuff on it...tomatoes...cucumbers...olives...etc etc etc. It just gets too expensive. So whenever I want the huge jumbo salad with many raw veggies I go to the Sweet Tomatoes near the house and get one to go. Go home and grill chicken and yum! It is actually quite inexpensive and I think if you search you can find a menu on the 'net.

mmmm Sweet Tomatoes is very good. I don't usually like buffets but they are great.

We used to eat at a Sweet Tomoatos fur lunch quite often when we were living in Florida. It's a nice selection, and a good change from other buffets.
