Here's the thing: we have a 7:00PM PS @ Artist Point at WL and then a PS for a sleigh ride there at Port Cachere at 9:30PM. I've read the EWP goes by the WL right around 9:30-9:35. (1) Does anyone know the where the sleigh rides go and if viewing the EWP from there is even possible? (2) Do they run the ferrys across the Bay to MK during the EWP? I thought we could possibly catch the ferry over after our ride to watch from the MK side. Or would that even be possible?
Also, where is Port Cachere? I've looked on the map, http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/wlmap.html, and don't see it.
Thanks.

Hi guys, got this for you, but don't know if it's any help... usually, stuff like this meets down by the marina. I'd call Wilderness Lodge directly to find out where it meets, or call 407-WDW-PLAY
Holiday Sleigh Rides at the Wilderness Lodge
Enjoy a leisurely 30-minute carriage ride through the Walt Disney World backwoods from November 30 - December 30! . All rides depart from the Porte Cochere in front of the Wilderness Lodge and will return to the same location every half hour between 5:30pm and 10:00pm (December 24th hours are 3:00pm - 7:00pm). Cost is $30 (tax included) per carriage. Up to 3 adults and 2 children or 4 adults will fit in the carriage. To reserve call WDW-PLAY; Please arrive 15 minutes prior to ride time. For same-day bookings, call 407-824-2832. A $30 fee will be charged for no-shows or for cancellations within 24 hours.
No-Smoking allowed. You may bring their own drinks on board. The ride will go out in mist, but not in rain. Trips may be cancelled due to inclement weather and rescheduled in which case you will not be charged.
oops, forgot to answer the ferry question - yes, they do still run the ferry, but will try to avoid it if it's running in it's path. We've sat while waiting for it to pass once, very pretty.

Thanks for the info. We already have the PS booked so I guess I can call the hotel and find out about where exactly to go.
And if we can't see the EWP from the ride, the ferry idea might just work. :)

dnsmills,
After WL, the EWP goes over to FT Wilderness and ends up at the Contemporary at 10:05pm. HTH
We took the sleigh ride at WL last year, we embarked on it at the covered area out front (where you drop off your luggage when you go into registration). (I believe Port Cachere is a term which describes the covered entrance. I have seen " port-a-cachere entrance (http://www.stottarch.com/projects/project%20images/p-39/p-39.html)" describing archetectural details. )

I've read that it continues back into 7SL past the MK boat dock again about 10:20. Is that only during certain times of the year?

dnsmills,
Electric Water Pagent Showings:
Polynesian -- 9 p.m.
GF-- 9:15 p.m.
WL-- 9:35 p.m.
FW-- 9:45 p.m.
CR-- 10:05 p.m.
MK-- 10:20 p.m. (when the MK is open late)
In answer to your original question the boat that takes you to the MK runs until the park closes. An hour should be enough time to get back over to the MK to watch it again (if it is playing again in front of the MK). The boat that goes to the MK is shared by FT. Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge. At noon time, they change the direction. (ie in the morning when we were there for Spring Break, the route went from FW to WL to MK to FW to WL et'c. After noontime, the boat went from WL to FW to MK to WL to FW to MK... ) So, if this holds, you would first go over to FW and then to the MK. It would take a little bit longer, but you may see a bit of the EWP over at Ft Wilderness, too. :)
