Has anybody ever stayed at the West Gate? This is our 1st time, and I was just curious. I've never done the "time share" thing, so I was wondering how it worked for anybody else who has done it. Thanks!

Which Westgate resort are you staying at? There are several.
Are you staying as part of a timeshare promo? If so and you aren't interested in purchasing, just say no. You may have to keep repeating that.

It's the West Gate Town Center, and yes, it's part of a time share promo. I just couldn't pass up the price. 6 nights for $240. We are not at all interested, and that was the part that made me nervous. Are you pressured, even if you say you aren't interested?

That is a good price. The accomodations should be very nice.

The timeshare people I have encountered have been psuhy but nothing a firm NO can't stop. The timeshare tour ONLY requires you to listen to their 90 minute presentation. It in no way requires you to purchase anything. Good luck

Just got back from Westgate Lakes. It was fantastic. Accommodation was wonderful, staff very helpful (we had more towels than we knew what to do with) the on site facilities were fantastic and we were so close to all major theme parks. Totally reccommend Westgate

PS We were just firm and said NO.

We were at the West Gate Town Center. The room was awesome, but the service wasn't too great. You had more towels than you knew what to do with, and we couldn't get towels. Called at 7AM for towels, gave up at 9AM and left for the parks, got back at 10:30PM and STILL didn't have towels! But, we had a great time. The salesman was very nice in the beginning, but got a bit pushy at the end. But, you're right...stick to your guns and keep saying NO!
