I am going on my first trip to Orlando next september but only going for 7 nights as we are doing a twin centre holiday, I just wanted somr peoples opinions on how to get the most out of our 7 days, and whats not to miss out there, we deffo want to go to discovery cove and everywhere else really but relise it isn't all going to be possible in 7 days, so from your past experiances what parks would you all suggest not to miss out on??
Any opinions would be very appriciated thanks :D

Discovery cove is certainly a MUST. Magic Kingdom on a saturday night cos you have a Parade at 3pm plus Electric Light parade in the evening, Plus "Wishes" (fireworks). Seaworld is also worth a visit.
You don't say what age group your party is which could make a difference as what to recommend.

I wouldn't do a lot of park hopping. Pick a park and stick there for a day and do all you can.

If you are anything like my DW and I, then you will probably be running around like headless chickens trying to fit everything in on your first visit, so don`t even try!
I suggest that you and your friends go to Pleasure Island one evening. Apart from that, I suggest that you study all the information to be found on these forums and then get down to some serious planning to sort out your itinerary.
If you need any help on any particular aspects of WDW, you only have to holler!
Have fun planning.

you could always hire a car for a day or two if you needed to see something else in orlando, where is the other resort you are staying at?

Hi Sarah
we've just come back from doing a 2 centre and managed to cram loads into just one week in Orlando.
Our 7 days itinerary went like this:
Landed friday evening and hit the parks saturday morning...be prepared, make a plan and get up early!!
Saturday: Animal Kingdom (am) Epcot (pm)
Sunday: Islands of Adventure (am) Universal Studios (pm)
Monday: MGM (am) Typhoon Lagoon (pm)
Tuesday: Magic Kingdom most of the day - shopping later
Wednesday: Blizzard Beach and then relaxing
Thursday: Islands of Adventure again then shopping again!
Friday: packed up to go to St Petes
Hope this helps.

We have car hire included in our holiday which I presume will help a bit with getting around, the other resort we are staying at is the bahamas

When me and DW went last year we did lots of park hopping. We managed to do lots of things in a day, but then this was our second time so we knew what we liked. Discorvery Cove...........WOW what a day you will love it. If you have time on one evening go to see Fantasmic, I would recommend doing a dinner package for it. Good value and cracking seats.
But more important just have fun and pretend you are 10 again!

magic kingdom is a must..... mgm is great, epcot is great, animal kingdom I'm not too fussed on, universal studios is mostly shows, Islands of adventure I havent been to yet, discovery cove is amazing (I've been there twice) and sea world is great....... but just keep in mind, just because you don't go somewhere this Holiday doesn't mean you can't go there in the future.....
