.....Grand Cayman will still be closed to cruiser's for our Nov 6th cruise. We are a bit disappointed since we will not be able to snorkel with the giant sting rays (was to be the highlight of our trip). We, however, understand and wish the people of Grand Cayman the best and hope they get their lives back on track as soon as possible. Plus, this gives us an excuse to go back. :D
Instead of Grand Cayman, we are porting in Costa Maya Mexico about 140 miles south of Cancun. There really isn't much information in travel guides or books since this is a realtively new port and the area has just started to develope as a vacation destination.
Does anyone know anything about Costa Maya?
