I thought I read some where that the mugs you get at the All-Star resorts yo can use between the resorts. Is this true? The reason I ask is when we were down last year I purchased the mugs, but there were only 3 of us, my parents had bought my oldest sons mug he stayed in there room, well they did not keep their mugs, but I have a mug left over from AS Sports from the year prior. Can I use this one at AS Movies? Thanks!
Almost feeling the magic!!!! :rotfl: 5 days to go!!!! :cloud9:

The short answer is:
Perhaps?
When we were there in May, we stayed at ASMovies, but we brought our ASSports mugs with us. We asked in the food court and we're told that certainly, we were welcome to use our mugs. However, when we were staying at CBR, their sign states, "Good for unlimited refills for the LENGTH OF YOUR STAY."
We always take ours, because we were specifically told we could. And I guess we will continue to do so until we are told otherwise...

It used to be that the mugs were good at that resort for the life of the mug. Now it is for that visit only....

Did that change recently JM? Because I know when we were there in May '04 we were told we could use our old ones...
Of course it could also be a matter of "who you speak to."

Well, it's hardly as though they patrol it. Although I think they're great value and I will def buy one again next time. How often do they change the design?

You guys are right, there isn't anyone "patrolling" but the signs at POFQ, Coronado and Sports all said for the current visit only

Ahhhh, ok...haven't seen the signs at All Stars...that's why I had asked in May. Thought maybe it was just something to do with the "value" resorts...

POP had the same sign that said for length of stay only. Definitely right about them not patrolling it though. We saw many people with mugs from lots of other resorts filling up.

Check out this link :wink:This topic was discussed a little while back, I posted a pic of one of my refill mugs there too. It was asking a similar question to yours.

Scoootch...
You raise a good point in your post in the previous thread...hadn't occured to me that even if the policy *had* changed if you purchased *your* mug during the "good forever" phase, then your mugs, would, in fact, be "good forever." Interesting...
