...just wondering if anyone knows of any good insurance companies that would cover people whent hey have exsisting medical conditions us I think it's very unlikely Virgin will.
In particular if anyone on this board knows of anyone who suffers from Cystic fibrosis and knows what insurance company they use would be a great help and very much appriciated.
:thanks:

sarah give virgin a ring and explain your problem, they helped my wife get in touch with a company that would cover us for certain medical conditions that other companies wouldnt cover

Whitequeen got some insurance for her DH through.......it was either Age Concern, or Help the Aged. You don't have to be a senior, and the rates were pretty reasonable too.

I did. We went through Age Concern last year. DH has MS and it cost £135 for all of us. (not the MS, the insurance)
I know that's expensive compared to 'able bodied' insurance, but you need to cover yourselves more than normal. It's worth it for that extra peace of mind. I'll see if I can find some more companies later.

I have just managed to get insurance through the Post Office. My daughter suffers from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and they have insured the 2 of us for £106 which is about double the normal premium which didn't seem too bad to me.
