Hi again, well I rented a wheelchair to be delivered to AKL on this Tues coming. They only have adult sizes so I got the smallest one available. Afew people gave me suggestions on how to make it comfortable for my 7yr dd. I was curious if anyone knew of any other places down there that might rent child size wheelchairs? I have an order in for the one, but if I found another place that had smaller wheelchairs it might be helpful to us. If not, I bought a pillow and some other things to prop her up to make her comfortable. Thanks. :wiggle:

I don`t know if this will help...I saw people renting double wide strollers (cos the singles were too small) and using them to ferry their 5,6,7ish year olds around the parks when they started flagging. It seemed like a very good idea and everyone was doing it. Might be something you`d like to try out :o)

Where are you flying in from Tracey? You know you can quite easily take your Daughter's own wheelchair if you prefer.

If that's not for you, then which company have you rented the wheelchair from?

Well here we are home today from a wonderful Disney vacation! My daughter opted out of using the wheelchair, so we sent it back and the hotel lent us a stroller they had which was more roomier than the one we bought with us. We got a GAC from the guest relations and took full advantage of it in lines. She only went on rides that she could handle and still managed to have a good time. :D All in all it was very good and crowded, so we hung around waiting alot for family and friends to get off rides, but it was much fun. Animal Kingdom Lodge was very nice, although we weren't pleased with the food. The restaurant serving the buffets was good, but the quick one with the convenient food was just ok, actually we got sick of eating there, but after spending all day in the parks, that is where we ate most of our food if not in the parks. Thanks for all the suggestions.
