OK I know this is getting a bit laboured but its getting Dark at 4 pm and its cold and I want to cheer myself up

So where are your top 5 places to be

Checking into the hotel after a long flight - getting that bubble growing in your tummy that you are actually there and its all about to start, your 1st cast member encounter reminding you how great they really are

Getting into a log on Splash mountain

Watching my sons face as we zip around the outside bit on test track

Listening to the music in EPCOT and just drifiting

and my new favourite

The whole family cuddling up on the bridge to Adventureland as the lights dim for wishes

Watching Mickey's Philharmagic / Festival of the Lion King :)

Number one is easy. Since I drive up, going through the Walt Disney World thing signifying I'm on property is first. After that, going to MK for the first time on a trip, Getting to the top of TOT. Ready to be shot into RnRC, Watching Fantasmic.

1. When I drive down, going through the gates that say Welcome to WDW
2. Riding TOT
3. The launch on Mission Space
4. The Glimpse of the Castle as I walk under the Train Station at MK
5. Haunted Mansion

Strolling around World Showcase, sitting outside the UK pavillion or Canada whilst 'Off-Kilter' are on stage :p

A non mover at number 4!

Taking a time out to enjoy the story of civilisation as the buggy does the ups and downs round Spaceship Earth

Last years number one slides two places to number 3!

The first ride on the Monorail/Ferryboat across to MK, walking under Main St Station and seeing the castle in all its glory!

For the 4th year running, maintaining its grip on the number 2 spot

Stepping into a boat at Pirates of the Carribean, and reliving the delights of my fave attraction :) 'Yo Ho, Yo Ho, Its a pirates life for me!' :Pirate:

And a new entry, going straight in at number 1

Relaxing on the Polynesian beach to see EWP/Wishes and taking in the sights and sounds of MK at night! ;)

Watching the gorillas at AK, first thing in the morning with no one other than CMs there.

Walking into MK and down Main St. headed for the castle, at Christmas time.

Seeing signs for Disney World a little after hitting florida.

Going through the Disney gates for the first time

Getting used to saying "I am in Florida, and Disney World!"


The first time on at Disney Bus and inhaling the scent of them :P

The launch on RnRc.

I love the Welcome signs also...it just makes my feel all goosebumpy.

Walking through the resort we've picked for that particular trip...getting our bearings..looking at all cool stuff.

Doing the traditional DTD shopping excursion on the day we arrive, and buying that first pin of the trip.

Boarding the bus/monorail for that first park day!!

Doing the walk right down the middle of Main St. U.S.A!!!

1. The Line Waiting for the Monorail, on the monorail, and getting off the monorail to the Magic Kingdom, I enjoy watching and listening to the kids

2. The Pre-Show at the Haunted Mansion

3. In the Courtyard at the Magic Kingdom when the characters are all out giving autographs and taking pictures (Same reason for the monorail)

4. 3rd Row, Center Section at Fantasmic!

5. On the drop at Pirates of the Caribbean

3. Floating round the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon...........

4. The little pathway from Tomorrowland bridge to the Castle ( a new find for us this year :) ) a little oasis. :tinker:

1. Mainstreet walking towards the castle seeing the ballooons and people posing for pictures with the smell of Casey's.I wanna hotdog right now!

2. Definitely Splash Mountain

3. Walking the World Showcase at night sampling the food and maybe a beverage or two!

4.People doing the wave at Fantasmic! Although I find the wave annoying I love that show!

5.Chef Mickey with all the Kids going nuts when they start playing the music and waving napkins.

See now I want to go to WDW.I guess I'll go check the airfare now! :whistle:

Oooh, I like this!

Sitting eating a hotdog at Casey's with that lovely view of the castle, and watching and listening to all the goings on at the top of Main Street.

Quietly watching the gorillas, and the tigers, at AK when there is no-one else around.

Walking through the corridor in Space Mountain that takes you to the ride. I love the music and the strange "pictures" on the wall.

Walking up the pathway to TOT towards the creepy hotel, hearing the screams and noticing all of the incredible details of the set-up all over again! I love that when there is no queue for this the waiting time is always set to 13 minutes!

Strolling through EPCOT with that lovely spacey music playing, especially at night when the pavement is twinkling! And especially when I'm strolling towards World Showcase!

1. The best thing is when you're about to drive through those magical purple gates and you know you've arrived!! Gotta love the purple road signs with ears on too!!
2. Walking around the Boardwalk on your first night.
3. Walking around World Showcase at any time and seeing Illuminations
4. The feeling you get on Test Track/Splash Mountain/Space Mountain/Big Thunder/Kali River Rapids etc....
5. When the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end in Festival of the Lion King

4.The boat ride from Boardwalk to MGM..anticipating all the fun we are going to have. :unsure:

3.The rainforest, desert, great plains section of the Land ride (Wouldn't it be really neat if you could just live there?):rolleyes:

2.Walking through MGM's Hollywood section with the vintage looking Christmas decorations and hearing the 1940's Christmas carols and songs.:wiggle:
