Well I'm Home......

Someone please sound the violin, Back to New Jersey, and I wish I was still there.

Weather all week was great, not overly hot, little chilly at night, not one drop of rain at all.

Anyone looking to go soon, be careful at the parks on the weekends, right now during the weekends, every park is PACKED. Shoulder to Shoulder, 45 minute + lines for attractions. Funniest moment of my trip, Splash mountain (5 minute wait).......Peter Pan (45 Minute Wait)......I had the big ''What the heck" cloud above my head after seeing that.

Magic Kingdom Tips:
Try to make it to MK on either Monday or Wednesday of your visit. I found those two days to be the least crowded during my trip, nearly no waits at all, and it was a very pleasant experience. Even FastPass on the weekends was out of control. I had gone to get a fastpass at 10:30 am on Saturday morning (Oct. 30th)for Space Mountain, and my fastpass return time was 4:15 to 5:15 PM. They were maxed out already. However, during the weekdays I went to MK it was great, low crowd attendance, hardly any waits on any of the rides.

A must see at the MK is Philharmagic. That show is brilliant. I actually saw it 4 times during my visit. They put a lot of work into it, and it is easily the best 3D show they have to date. Make sure you see this if you go.

Also, if you're heading down before the official opening of Stitch's Great Escape (November 16th), I had the oppourtunity of seeing this attraction, as they were running tests on it all week long. What a great experience that was.(SPOILER HERE!!!!) ---- It's very similar to Alien Encounter, but the animatronics on Stitch are just flat out amazing. Best I've ever seen. He'll blink, and then squint, its just amazing. You'd have to see it to fully understand, but he escapes similar to the Alien, although the Alien was pretty scary, Stitch is aimed more towards being funny. Make sure you check for this.

I also participated in Pin Trading while I visited, and I have to admit that the cast members are very polite in trading, they'll often ask you to trade with them if they see a pin they like, its sometimes amusing, but a very pleasant addition to your trip. Be sure to ask about how to get started.

I will add more to this within the next hour or so, tips for Epcot (Food and Wine Fesitival), even the attractions there. Things I learned for the Animal Kingdom, and all MGM Studios.

Wow I am going to be in the parks Saturday, I sure hope that it isn't that full this weekend? I don't remember it being that full last year during Halloween either??

I hope it isnt too packed.

Things are apparently hectic because of all the hurricane cancellations. They said everything most likely will be back to order after Thanksgiving, as far as crowds go.

Make sure to be patient, as you will need to be during the weekends. I experienced everything I wanted to, and everything worthwhile. Already miss being there.

As for Epcot, make sure to rush right over to Test Track and Mission Space, as the fastpass gets maxed out way early, and the line's become extremely long. 115 minute wait at one point, and the single riders line was even 45 minutes long. Mission Space (IMO) wasnt really worth it, Star Tours is much better. They put a lot of work into it, as you will see, but it really isnt worth all the hype they give it. I wasn't overly impressed, but its enjoyable for 1 ride. The world showcase becomes much more packed as the night rolls on, try to check out the countries during the midday, as at night, it becomes rather crowded, even during the weekdays, all thanks to the food and wine festival.

If you like steak, make sure to check out the Austrailia stand, as they have Austrailian Beef, and its delicious. Also if you're looking to get margarita's, the only place you can get them is at a stand in Mexico, and the lines get rather long, and you'll end up waiting for at least 20-30 minutes (No Lie).

I'll type more shortly.

Thanks for the tips! We'll be there during the week of Thanksgiving, and I already know the crowds will be back to normal by then...

MGM Studios: Crowds we'rent bad here at all. I never had any problems or long waits getting onto any rides or shows. I was actually a volunteer at the Indiana Jones stunt show finally, even have my little certificate, they also give you a t-shirt now. I had the glory of doing the little "walk like a lady" routine, funny stuff.
As for Star Tours, you can pretty much walk right onto this attraction at any time of the day.
The Great Movie Ride can get crowdly by mid-afternoon, so you may want to visit this attraction as you enter the park.
Rock'n Roller Coaster is a great experience, and definitely a must-see. Sometimes the wait will say 30 minutes, and you'll end up waiting for 10, as I did. The line moves rather quickly.
Tower of terror always said at least 40 minutes of a waiting time, but their times must have been way off when I went. I got into the line when it said a 45 minute wait, and I barely waited 15 minutes.

Weekends are always busy at MK. Even during the slowest time of the year. Locals like to visit :D

Poo, I am not very patient. I love Mission To Space. :) Last year, the longest line I was in was the Tower of Terror's because they were refurbishing it, and I only had a 90 minute wait.
