Unfortunatley it seems that we have left it a little late to book a taxi or anything to get back on New Years Eve after our partying so as I dont drink I thought i would drive us down there.
My question is the parking at the front of DTD / Pleasure Island, do you have to pay for this?? Would it be special tickets only for New Years Eve and would we need to get there at the crack of dawn on the 31 to secure ourselves a parking space??
Would be grateful to hear from people who have been at DTD before around this time of year.
Thanks
Lisa

There is no charge for park at DTD and too late to book a taxi? That seems strange. Most taxi companies don't let you book that far in advance

Well i contacted Quicksilver and also the transport through Disney and everything was booked up. Im not too keen on flagging down a taxi outside pleasure island as I know they will be charging the earth because of the time of year.

There is valet parking available at PI. You'll pay for that, but I'm not sure how much (maybe aoubt $6).
Taxi's have metered fares and those fares shouldn't change given the time of year.
If you want a booked car, try Tiffany towncar, or Happy Limo or a company like that.
You won't have to get to PI super early to find a spot, but do expect the place to be jammed when you do arrive. You may end up parking quite a way in the distance (if you don't use valet, or if valet is full) and walking in, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

No, sorry I don't. :sorry: I'd just do a 'net search on them? Happy Limo used to be a sponsor here. And Tiffany Towncar has a very good reputation. I've not ever heard anyone have anything but good to say about them.
