Hi everyone I have a couple of questions for you pros out there. First of all when is the MGM parade? In years past it was 1:00 but now I have heard it is at 3:30. I looked on the website but couldnt find it. Also I have a little almost 7 year old who is 47.25 inches tall. I am thinking with sneakers he will be able to squeak onto everything (rnr rollercaoster in particular). But are the 48 inches measuring sticks taking that into consideration? He was a crying little mess after being turned down at Space Mtn 2 years ago!
And lastly during the MVMCP are there fireworks to kick it off I am trying to make California Grill reservations. Thanks so much you all have been so helpful! 27 days to go!! Christina

Disney is very strict about the height requirement so I would keep that in mind. If your looking for parade times, they change from month to month. If your on the main Disney site, click on the date and you'll get the parade and fireworks times. Hours also available here (http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/hours.html) and Joanne has then in a chart :)

Last year my DS was about that same height. With shoes on he was barely skimming 48. The CMs at R&RC at MGM let him on. At Animal Kingdom the CM at the gate of Primeval Whirl let him through, the CM at the ride said he was to short. ?????

Height problem - slighty more difficult with a boy than girl, but shoes with the thickest (highest) soles and a nice spikey hair-do should help. And be persistant with CMs, you'll be amazed how the height checks can vary!

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!
