I`ve never eaten there myself although there are some good reports on these forums about it, posted by those who have.
Try this link (http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/menus.html) for the menus...hope this helps.

Both Boma (the buffet) and Jiko, The Cooking Place (full service) are excellent places to dine. The little counter style place (Mara) I've not ever tried, but they do have some nice sounding selections in there.

I'll echo 'Tink's response. We love both Boma and Jiko. Have eaten both breakfast and dinner at Boma.

If you do breakfast at Boma (wonderful) be sure to have the house juice. It is wonderful!

Boma is my favorite place to eat in all of Disney :) It is sooo good...and unlimited deserts that taste great isn't a bad thing...

Only done breakfast at Boma and it's great. The Frunch juice is yummy. They have a great selection of foods. Some African for the more adventurous eaters, some regular breakfast foods (pastries, pancakes, fruit, etc).
One of the best breakfast menus on property IMHO :D

We did the dinner buffet at Boma, and it was my favourite meal by far at WDW. You must try the Potato Bacon soup!!!!!
A word of warning. Don't do as I did and eat too much of the soup.....I had no room for the wonderful looking desserts :D Ah well, will just have to go back :)

My trick is you get the dessert FIRST. That way you have plenty of room.
I've been to Boma for dinner and it was wonderful. The Boboti is excellent!

If you have a plate of desserts (particularly if you select them first, as Johnie says) and you can't eat them, they will give you a take away container. :D
Remember that Boma has a rotating menu. The soups, the meats and some other dishes change every third (or so) day, so what you had one night won't be there the very next night.
If you are looking for a particular soup, or meat, you'll want to know on which night is due to be served. :)

Boma is wonderful. We have eaten there for both breakfast and dinner. We liked the breakfast better. My husband is a bit of a picky eater & they had plenty of breakfast selections that he enjoyed but had several unique & yummy dishes for me to try. It was very exotic. We also loved the juice at breakfast.

I have to agree, Boma is wonderful. We actually ate dinner there 2x in 6 days because we enjoyed it so much the first go around. Even my little kiddies loved it and they are 2yrs and 6yrs and very picky. The Curried Coconut Seafood Stew is to die for! The desserts are awesome...and we tried everyone of them.
The Breakfast is equally as good. Get the Frunch.:)

If planning on going out of season - will I need to PS for dinner at Boma?

I would say, yes!
AKL concierge couldn't even get us in middle of last November. :(
Make the PS and if you decide not to do it, just cancel.

The first night we ate there we had a PS, waited about 5min. The second night we did not and waited 20min. Which still wasn't bad. We were staying at the AKL so DH just ran down to make the ressies while I strolled down with kids, by the time we got to Boma the table was ready.
We were there Oct 10-15th 2004 (regular season)

Oh good. I'm doing dinner there for the first time and although I'm 25, I have the taste buds of a fussy 10 year old

We've eaten breakfast, and dinner at Bomas, and at the Mara. They are excellent. I enjoyed the breakfast much more at Bomas than dinner, but dinner was good. All of the soups are wonderful, especially the potato bacon soup as mentioned earlier.
