True park hours

Just looked at the park hours for january and something has me puzzled......it happens at MK, MGM, & Epcot - eg: MGM studios has hours of 8.30am until 7.30pm. How come there is a showing of Fantasmic starting at 7.30pm? :confused:

That is almost always the case (except during the summer). The rides shut down at 7:30

You'll see the same with EPCOT for most nights. The park closes at 9:00 pm with Illuminations scheduled for 9:00 pm. Kind of weird, since they don't stop people from entering at 9, nor do they refuse to sell you things between 9 and the end of the show! :D

But anyway, that's the story. :ears:

So, the last admittance onto rides/last showing of anything would be 7.30pm -thanks jm. Just wanted a better idea to plan evening meals. I take it that you could actually be in any park for up to an hour after they actually 'close' then! :wacko:

shops are usually open at least an hour after the official park closing time
