Hi all,
I'm taking my family to WDW this christmas and wanted to know what is the best method of hiring a car - via the web, on phone, when we actually get there? Also, who is the cheapest (and most reliable)?
Many thanks in advance!

It's best to book your car and pay your insurance before you go Phil. The hire firms at the other end will try to talk you into allsorts once you're in front of them and tired after the long flight :D
We use these people. They are pretty hard to beat

Used Holidayautos.co.uk last year, but airline-network.co.uk have worked out cheapest for us this year also :)

Thanks guys - one more question  if I book with either of the two that you have suggested, will I have to pay anything extra when I get there? What happens about insurance and how much can I expect to pay for fuel?
Thanks - sorry for the cheeky questions!

That`s compared to over $7 a gallon over here USC! :ohno: [Even though "your" gallons are slightly larger than ours.]

If you pay the fully inclusive insurance this end, it's much easier and everything is included.
For a 7 seater (Voyager type) for 2 weeks fully inclusive cost us £390 with 2 drivers, all insurances, fees and taxes and a tank of fuel.
