Well this stinks....and a hotel question

My girlfriend just broke the news to me that she won't be able to go with me to Disneyworld in May, so the proposal is kaput.

It turns out my backup guest can't make it either, because she has to save money to go to one of her friends wedding in August.

None of my other friends like Disney the way I do, so I can't take them, my brother refuses to go to Florida again.

Looks like I'll be going by myself. (Not really a problem, as now I can do everything the way i want, but I would have liked to have a friend along)

Sheesh.

Say, I keep hearing the the All-Star resorts are the cheapest Disney hotels, so I was wondering if anybody could give me a clue on what the prices are like?

-Also, how far in advance should you book hotels/activities?

Can't help you much, apart from to say AS is a great resort, I;m sure someone more useful will be along soon :D

The all-stars (and Pop) are the value resorts and are great. I'm at Pop for 8 nights in a couple of week (how I LOVE saying that) and I got an awesome AP rate of $49 a night

You can ususally get it for $78 a night. AAA has discounts too. We just got an email from them with a $49 rate. We are staying at Pop Century next month.

That really stinks that your girl friend can not go. Is there anyway to make her change her mind.

it's not her choice, she has the wonderful triple play of work isn't willing to give her the time off/her sister's graduation/finishing college
