OK, this will be our first WDW Christmas. We have heard that all of the Disney resorts are wonderfully decorated. I would like to know what are the must see resorts and decorations. Also how late can we visit these resorts? Any help would be wounderfull!!

It's wonderful the way each resort decorates! My favorites are the Grand Floridian and the Wilderness Lodge - oh, and Animal Kingdom Lodge! All are beautiful. I don't think there is any "set" time for visiting the resort. People come and go all day and evening.

The decorations are already going up. I was at the BC (and visited the YC) over the weekend. The main trees are up, several accent trees, the swags and the huge garlands. Kind of rushing it, I thought, but then they do have a wicked lot of decorating to do. I'll get some photos up as soon as I can.

I worked on them last night, Keith. They are downloaded and for the most part resized. I might be able to get some up tonight. :luck:

I particularly like the BC & BW & WL. Though I don't think you could possibly go wrong with any you visit but those three are my favorites.

If you have your own transportation, you can visit most of them any time you like (may be parking restrictions if they have a lot of guests). Otherwise, any time you can take WDW transportation! :)

Yes the resorts and the entire WDW is fantastically and magically decorated. It is a very festive time of the year at WDW. It's our most favorite time of the year. I believe you can visit the resorts anytime.

Here are some shots of the Beach Club taken this weekend. The main lobby tree is up, but the gingerbread decoration has yet to be put on display. The atrium tree is in the area that separates the BC from the BCV.
The little tree is near the cruise lines desk. It is child size.
The wreaths are huge, as are the garlands that hang from the upstairs bannisters.

More shots of trees, wreaths and garlands in the Beach Club Villas. The last is of the main tree in the Yacht Club. Look closely and you will see actual yachts as decorations. It's not too evident from this shot, but they are huge ornaments!

Usually somewhere around the first week in January. They start coming down right after the New Year.
