Until the day before to pack? We leave this Thursday evening (driving) and I have not packed anything. I have a dining room table with some things I have picked up from Target and Walmart, but nothing has gone in a suitcase. I am stressed just thinking about it. Normally I am a very organized person and the bags would have been packed and at the front door by now...whats wrong with me! I am so excited, but the packing is scaring me! :rotfl:

For anything a week or shorter, I usually pack the night before!
It's just the longer trips that require a bit more planning. :)

I never pack til the night before :) That's usually when I finish all the laundry to have clean clothes to take with me :D I find that I don't forget anything that way either

Every time we go to Disney we end up running around till 3am trying to pack things... we get picked up about 5am so we're at the airport with about 2 hours of sleep. EVERY time, we swear we're going to pack WELL in advance this time, and it never ever happens.
So yep, you're not alone :) still, adds to the excitement :)

Don`t worry, I didn`t pack until the night before, soooo unlike me, but in the end I ended up taking too much stuff.

Welcome Rapunzel! I like to have everything packed well ahead of time too.
Keith. You're not going to help with the laundry before you go again, are you? 'Course Helen may be in the mood for a new wardrobe again!

I "pretend" to pack weeks ahead...I start throwing things into a "central location" but inevitably, I'm up until 3:00 am the morning of throwing things in suitcases...Not this trip though...We fly out on the 26th, but I'll be leaving the house on the 19th to go visit family for the holidays and I won't be coming back to the house, which means I have to be packed for TWO weeks by the 19th..I'm still not sure how it's going to happen...I don't even OWN that many days worth of clothes, much less trying to sort out what type of weather we're going to be dealing with along the way....

jenks0718,
I always put packing off until the day of...  So does DH and DS... I don't know how DH does it, but he gets himself packed in 10 or 15 mins...
I'm usually running around charging batteries, looking for CF cards and cameras and whatever else on the day of... :)

I usually pack the day before, but all Callie's new clothes need washing before I pack them, she's allergic to the starch they spray on them, so that's taking forever
I've packed the girls flight cases, but that's about it so far. I need to decide which clothes to leave at home, as usual the girls have about 40 outfits each for a 14 night holiday.....not to mention the 14 pairs of shoes

Guilty your honour
We did it for this years trip, did not get around to packing until late friday night, recipe for disaster I know, but lucky enough, we remembered the important things, I mean, you can always buy shorts in the sunshine state, and they look even better on you now with the favourable exchange rate :hehe:

I already have some things packed for our trip in June! Not clothes or anything. But our disney fans, squirt bottles and etc. that way I'm not freaking out wondering where I put everything.
