Fridges

To anyone who has been recently, in last few weeks-

Are there fridges in every resort room now (specifically POFQ & Poly), or do you still need to request them?

I've been reading very mixed recent reports about fridges in resort, Joanne.
It still seems to be pot-luck according to which CM you speak (also,some recent guests have been charged for fridges, others not!)
Its sounds like some resorts have still not placed fridges in ALL rooms but if you request at reception you will get one.

We have a friend that just got back from AKL and they had their fridges in... I know that's not either of your resorts, but I just wanted to share....

i think they'res fridges but on request.

I had to request a fridge at Pop Century, cost $10 per day. The hairdryer I requested was free. The room came with an iron and ironing board. So that tells me that a man decided it...iron already there but no hairdryer, only on request...a woman would NEVER have done that!

BM, apparently fridges are supposed to be free at the moderates and deluxes :)

When we checked in to Wilderness Lodge the fridge was not in the room, but when we asked they delivered one in about 5 minutes.

So it's pot luck whether or not you have one in your room already. I hope there's one in our room, I hope there's one in our room, I hope there's one in our room...good mantra huh?

Ummm.. from the looks of it, I guess you will be better off requesting one.. is it possible to do it before you arrive????

Yep, but it still doesn't seem to guarantee you have one when you actually get to the room :lol: Last thing I heard was they do hope to have fridges in all rooms at the Mods and Deluxes by Jan 05.

We stayed at the AKL the week of Oct 10th and had to request. We were told that we would get one when one became available. It was brought to our room later that night.

I just had a few people come back from POFQ this weekend and they said that the rooms had the refrigerators in them
