Fantasmic & Osbourne Lights on the same night???

We are down to our three week countdown - so I am going through our plans with a fine tooth comb and fear I have hit a snag. :oops:

We are planning on going to MGM on Monday, Dec 6, and staying for Fantasmic. We were also planning on seeing the Osbourne lights the same day. It just dawned on me that the park will be closing when we get out of Fantasmic - so will we not be able to see the lights????

If this is the case, then we could hop over to MGM on Saturday, the 11, after Animal Kingdom closes - but we have to be at the airport at 5:45 am the next morning - so I was hoping to hit the sack early that night.

Does anyone know if you have the leave the park right after Fantasmic or if they allow stragglers to wander through the lights afterwards??

Miraclemoments has strolled through after Fantasmic! before, and our December UOG gathering is planning on going through after the show as well.

We've been there after park closing, as have WDWGrandma and USCWest. I think as long as you're out of there before any private parties, you're fine.
