(PO or CB?) 1st Timer in Jan with kids 4 & 6

Good Morning, posted a ? on "planning", but was it was kindly suggested that I post in individual areas; thank you.
Am planning to arrive @ WDW in mid January, but am at a loss of which resort would be the best on a fairly limited budget with 2 little disney gaga girls, aged 4 & 6. Have discounted the value and am looking @ moderate. Possibly PO French 1/4 or CB? What are advantages of either or or is there a better suggestion. Have heard that CB is better in North Trinidad, corner room?? Do not want to trek miles to a bus or food courts, nor do I want all the noise at our doorstep! Am I asking the impossible?? My husband and I have never been, nor have our children and we would like this to be a "magical" holiday for them.
Any help would be most appreciated.

POFQ is much smaller than any of the other moderates. It is super quiet and has a cool slide :) Of course, I haven't stayed at CBR so I can't comment on that resort.

My room at POFQ was in the "back" of the resort and was still only a 5 minute walk to the main building.

I totally agree with JuniorMickey, the size and convience of PO-FQ with two young children in tow would be the wise choice. We have stayed there twice and are staying there again in April 2005, and we LOVE the place. :)

I've been to both and would pick PO-FQ every time over CBR! Your kids would love the theming at the pool too! FQ as mentioned is so much more compact and it's so cute - plus the bus service there is excellent;)

BTW, when we stayed at CBR it was in Jan. and it's also very spread out - unless you luck out and get a really convenient buildng/location it can be alot of walking to both bus stops and the main pool/restaruant area.
