I have a technical question regarding an ESPN zone game ticket... We acquired this ticket in Anaheim in April of 2003. I was just reading the fine print and much to my surprise, it doesn't mention Orlando. Is the ESPN zone at the Boardwalk a different affliation than all the others (and special game tickets are required) -OR- did I obtain the tickets prior to ESPN being open for business on the Boardwalk? (I didn't pay attention, but I thought ESPN zone had been there for a while...)
(I'm trying to figure out if it would be any good in Orlando.)

JM,
This ticket is for the games (I'm probably not calling it the right thing). There is a certain point value on the card. The card is inserted into a slot (instead of coins) and the value of the game is deducted from the card....

I am fairly sure that the ESPN Club at the Boardwalk, and the ESPN Zone in several other cities are not exactly the same thing. The ESPN Club at the Boardwalk in mainly a restaurant with an arcade next door. I hope this helps!!!

If I understand DC, the card you have would be used at the tables where Nintendo style games can be played? (I'm not certain of the name of the machines they use there now).
I know there used to be Nintendo style players at the tables. To use them you had to put a hefty deposit down on a credit card, but how much they actually cost to play, I don't know as I never used them.
Is that what you are talking about, the games available at the dining tables in the bar area of ESPN?

Musicmixer,
Ah-ha, maybe that is the difference "Club" versus "Zone" Thanks.

OKWTink,
Yes. The card is used to play games. It was issued in Anaheim (at Disneyland's Downtown Disney). I don't know why the image is not displaying, but if you click on the link from my first post--it lists the locations where the card is accepted. Strangely enough, it doesn't list Orlando. So, perhaps it is a Club in Orlando and a Zone everywhere else and that is why...
