Best ever meal in WDW

If anybody is looking for a special and memorable dining experience in WDW, may I heartily recommend the Dinning with an Imagineer in MGM.

It takes place in a private dining room attached to the Brown Derby, its limited to 7 or 8 people and costs $60 plus tax. WHos I hear you say.

It was worth every single cent and more.

We had the head imagineering honcho from MGM who had worked on Pirates and a few other rides.

The food was selected from your OWN personalised menu. Its quality was A1, 3 course plus drinks. We could ask what question's we wanted and got direct answers.

It lasted for over 90 minutes.:) :) :) :) :)

Then when we finished each group got a very special gift. Which was signed for the occasion.

I give this 11/10, and will be re booking on our next visit to the good oe US of A.

I would hazard that I could sell mine to a collector on say e-bay for 100-150 dollars.

Oh. Just wondering. I'm not into animation, or MGM/movies so it's an experience that I won't expect to have.

Twink, you get pot luck with the imagineer, and you can question them on any subject, believe it or not we discussed everything from the different concrete mixes needed for the different parks world wide, to internal politics and the technical aspects of favorite rides etc. (Alien encounter and Fantasmic in my case)

Rosemary, this truely was an great experience. I hope you get the chance to go. He spent about 15 minutes giving career information to the daughter of the other family dining with us.
