Hi all, I'm new to this forum, but it looks like exactly what I need.
I am planning a trip to WDW for March 2005. I have my reservations for AllStar Movies resort and I did a Prince/Princess Dream Maker package. My 2 kids will be 4 & 7 at the time we travel. We are staying 5 nights. Did I get rooked or is this a good deal???

We've never been to Disney, so we definitely want to do the major stuff like the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Epcot, so is this package necessary? I'm not sure what the difference is. I had mentioned I do want a character breakfast for the kids and I ended up with this package. I know she had said something regarding tickets to all the shows, but why would I need tickets to all the shows? I mean, yeah..I wouldn't mind for my daughter to see "Beauty & the Beast", etc. But aren't there A LOT of shows to be seen.

HELP:confused:

TIA,
Jeanne

Jeanne,

The vouchers get you priority seating at the shows, which are very nice if you're trying to avoid the lines for them. It's a godsend at Playhouse Disney, where the lines are Parental Torture Tests - out in the hot sun, long line snaking excessively around and around until you think you are going to drop from the weight of the tiny child on your shoulders, who MUST ride high in order to watch the non-stop Playhouse Propaganda on the overhead tv's... (go ahead, ask me what I really think about this queuing area... :D )

The breakfast vouchers end up saving you money over booking a Princess themed breakfast separately (includes tax and gratuity) and remember that you get $50 Disney Dollars back at check-in. You might want to ask your agent if she will book all your seatings for you - that service along is worth quite a bit. Bear in mind, however, that you can buy the Disney Dollars and can book breakfasts without the vouchers. You cannot get the priority seatings at the shows (although all the shows are included with park admission)

I like the Prince and Princess Add-on, however, make sure you get your money's worth out of the Dream Maker package portion - try to get an early flight on arrival and leave late on the last day... your tickets are good from the moment you check in, until midnight of the day you check out.

I also tell my Guests to just pick their favorite shows to book, so you don't feel like a PS Commander, and spend all your time trying to run from show to show.

How do the CM's know that you have the prince and princess package in order to get your ps seating at the shows? Do you have a card or something?
