Ok say the idea I had of expanding AK to include 4 new land happened for the Arctic Region I have a new ride Concept.Hope you like it...if not toss me your constructive criticism. Thank you. This is an indoor-"Dark Ride"

(NEW RIDE NOT A KIMJS Ride or KRR ride)
Plot: We will be taken on an excursion boat cruise of the Ice shelf and along the way see animals that are present during the NIGHT excursion.

Vehicle: Barge style ship with ice cutter bow (size is about 2 Universe of Energy Vehicles long and 1 1/4 wide). It has 2 masts in the middle raised decking and 2 sides (Port and Starboard) for sitting on either side of the middle raised mast part. Vehicle will float and have coaster Wheel guides as well. The boats frame above water line is Floating (no pun guys  ) on 6 hydraulics to give passengers the feel on the swaying ocean while on the track portion.

Misc: Waves will be simulated by lifting the water beneath and by using a massive water sack that has on the back side water jets pushing water rapidly over the front to look like a massive white-cap wave. Other real waves will be generated in smaller form like similar to Typhoon Lagoon.
Scene 1:
We enter a boat house and see all the seafaring of ages as we walk through to the dock and Pier-master's building. We now enter a room. Pre-boarding we get a weather update that shows a strong storm moving into the area and we also get a back ground on the ship we are sailing on. As we make our way to the dock we see its near dark and waves are splashing a mist onto the dock. After we board a rocking ship (due to simulated waves from a generator) we hear the captain say "while the weather is a little rough it will still be a great tour and if we get into trouble we have engines we can start up to get us out in a flash to the safety of Sturgeon Harbor were this ship is going to wait out the storm tonight". We feel the engines fire up to get us away from the dock and then cut as the sails take over.

Scene 2:
We cruise the rough water with spot lights and running lights to show us (animatronic) Polar bears at play on the ice and seals slipping into the water as well as a close encounter by a Whales large tail as it hits the water spraying us down. All the while the captain is pointing these out to us as he spins the spot lights back and forth showing us these great creatures. During this time we are floating POTC style BUT in WAVEY conditions as they mist over our decks. Then the captain gets a warning that the storm is getting to close and we need to get out and to the safety of Sturgeon Harbor now. He confirms and tells us the tour is sadly cut short. He orders sails dropped and engines started up. We feel the vibrations in the seats as we move forward faster but then we feel the ship hit and rock as we hear scrapping (the real feeling will be us hoping up the conveyor belt like SW or POTC does to get us to exit). I also throw in the hydraulic deck sway and some loud bang and groaning with a water cannon (slightly muzzled) firing up the side of the ship as a big wave. What has happen for the story is that we hit a shallow rock that was submerged....in reality we just loaded the vehicle on the Track portion.

Scene 3:
We here the captain tell us that we are stuck and working to free the ship. He leaves the Paging system on by accident and we hear him and the engines room as they struggle to free the ship. The waves get bigger and bigger. Off to the side we see one spot light pick up a bigger wave and the Look-Out calls it out as it hit us. The water crashes on the deck and over the sides. One big wave hits us then and we scrape free of the shallows. We all of a sudden see a large flash in the middle of the ship and front fire erupts and smoke billows. All the lights blow out on the ship. For a few minutes we get hit by un-seen waves and tossed around helpless. The emergency lighting comes on and we hear that the Dynamo Room is trying to get the power back to the lights and engines. Lighting starts to flash above us and then a blot hits the front mast and catches it on fire as fiber optics streak down the column to the base. Fire will come from small holes that have a gas tube in them to release a constant flame. At this point the Mast falls forward slamming the deck (this is controlled by a hinged mast and a cable that is disguised as a support cable pulling down the mast and locking it down). The lightning is done by having the first mast hit a thin black charged flexible cable.

Scene 4:

We now get engines back as waves keep hitting us we round a tight corner of an ice-shelf and see towering ice formations and a sinking ship that's coming at us. We push full throttle an ride up and down the high and low peaks (thanks to our coaster track and special momentum motors, as waves are times to coordinate with our ups and downs)as water crashes all around. We get to a point were the sinking wreckage is going to hit us so the captain uses a Ice Arch connected to the ice shelf to go in between to break and shield us. As we cut through, the wreckage hits the side of the arch and causes chunks to fall of into the water around us. Our Rear Mast hits a low point in the arch and comes crashing back on the center of the rear deck. We now see bits of snow (made by a snow machine) falling to the boat. At the same time we hear a thunderous roar and see the Ice Shelf falling off. The captain puts on full speed into the waves and turns the stern to the Shelf as it collapse into the ocean. The wave hits the ships stern and sends us speeding ahead into wind and rain, up and down waves twisting and pitching. We see the lights around the bend and turn hard to the side as he nearly pitch 80 degrees on the side to make the turn. We clear the wave breakers and make it to the dock.... Safe and sound but shaken....At that moment the main lighting returns to full power (since we were under emergency lights for a while).

The idea to this ride is the dark night on a stormy ocean combined with the lack of view and the unknown. Add some speed, water spray's, water and effects.....I think if you can imagine yourselves in a real situation like this and put the effects and story I added you can see this can be terrifying and exciting. In the dark scenes (when all power is out and during emergency lighting) the waves and splashes on deck and at people will vary to keep it different. Also 2 tracks will be used to mix it up a little and you'll never know which one you get since it splits you after leaving port.

are you talking about the waves hitting the people on the boat mondo? cause that must just get them a TINY bit soaked hah... I like the idea though... it's like artic adventure at Sea World except better and in a boat instead of a motion simulator.. It would probably take a lot of work and a lot of money though. And also a lot of space but Disney has plenty of that near AK..

I like it. you should also add temperature drops. youd have guess flocking to it ;)
