1. Epcot to the nearest 24hr Walmart.

2. AK to Mall @ Millenia

3. Titanic Exhibition on I-Drive to Orlando Premium Outlets

4. Orlando Premium Outlets to Old Town.

You can make them as detailed as you like.......please. :sorry:

There are two close to Epcot. I think that the most convenient is the one on Sand Lake Road.

From Epcot, follow the signs to I-4 East.
Continue on I-4 to exit 74A (approximately 7 miles)
Take exit 74A and turn right (East) onto Sand Lake Road.
Drive for 2 miles, Wal-Mart will be on the intersection of Sand Lake and John Young Parkway.

2. AK to Mall @ Millenia

From AK, follow the signs to I-4 East.
Continue on I-4 to exit 78, Conroy Road (approximately 14 miles)
Take exit 78, The Mall at Millennia will be on your right.

3. Titanic Exhibition on I-Drive to Orlando Premium Outlets

As you exit the Titanic Exhibition, head South on I-Drive.
Continue driving on I-Drive to Orlando Premium Outlets.
It will be on your right.

4. Orlando Premium Outlets to Old Town.

From Orlando Premium Outlets, take I-Drive South.
At the intersection with SR536, turn Right.
At the intersection with SR535, turn Left (South)
At the intersection with US192, turn Left (West).
Old Town will be on your left.

Hope that helps!!!

Silly man, just call White Queen Limo Service and she'll be happy to drive you and Helen to any and all Walmarts in the area providing she doesn't get lost that is

First, I made an update to the directions above, number 4.

Both Wal-Marts have the same selection as far as electronics and gadgets. The one on US192 because they get lots of tourist business that are looking for the gadgets and the one on Sand Lake because it services a large area of locals.

Depending where you are staying, one might be closer than the other. I like the one on Sand Lake better, not so many tourists   . Where will you be staying?

and and and :) is there any kind of place where there's a target or wallmart on the same park with a best buy etc.

JD tell me more!!!!!!

Where do I go for loads of good gadgets and computer stuff?

I've so far been going to the best buy across the road from the florida mall but I HATE crossing that road between the two. Remembering that we don't have a car so we normally get the taxi to bestbuy then walk across to the mall.

Is there a better place? should I be hunting out a compusa? tell me MOREEEEEEE

That's where we are going this morning to research HDTV's.

Keith, gotta go now, but will be back later this afternoon with detailed directions if you need them.

The CompUSA is also on across from the Florida Mall, but just north of Sand Lake. And the Circuit City is just across the street from that.

I really gotta go now, but I'll have a map for you when I come back...

Well, I did all my research on my new camera and bought at Wal-Mart as they were $30 cheaper than best buy and the like. That $30 bought me a 128 MB Compact Flash card :D

Is the Wal-Mart on Sand Lake a Super Center or regular store?

OKWTink
November 21st, 2004, 14:09
It's a super center tajainaz.

I like the one on 192 a bit better because of the selection! It seems to have a wider variety of items as it is clearly catering to the desires of many visitors.

There is a new superwalmart on 27 north (that'd be a right out of WDW property from the AKL area). I might be going there to check it out today. Will report back if it's worth a visit from our UOG members! LOL!

Keith, I bought my first laptop from CompUSA and my first PDA from Circut City. Best Buy makes me a little nervous (but you won't have any problems there as you know the gadgets inside and out). And of course, my favorite, The Apple Store in Millenia is where the new computer came from.

There are some pretty wicked gadgets and electronic gizmos in the warehouse clubs of late. I think that's because the holidays are approaching.

Hmmmm...'Tink and her three club cards (Costco, BJ's and Sam's) wonder if I should offer "tours!" LOL! :D

Oh, it's a very nice one, redkop! Nothing bad to say about it! :D I just like all the UK geared merchandise in the other one! LOL!

Plus, I had to stand on line nearly two hours to check out at that superwalmart, once. It sort of ruined me for the place!

But, it is definitely a good place to shop (in as much as it is a Walmart)! :D

it's gonna be SOOOO hard... this is the only time I miss having a car. Rest of the time I'm fine but those places are close enough to make getting a taxi between them silly but I know the roads in between will make it kinda hard to walk from one to another :(

Oooh! I was there last night despite the long drive. It's very nice. There seems to be more space to walk around the aisles. I think you'll like it...

That is wicked, tajainaz! Are you the first tour subject then? :hehe:

I found the new SuperWalmart to be ok, but I'd not go out of my way to visit there again. It's a bit smaller than the others, and the selection isn't "up there" yet. I'd imagine it will be more refined once it is determined what sells best there.

There was a neat UK section though. They had marmite! :D
