We were wanting to buy WDW autograph books for our kids before we actually enter WDW and start meeting up with characters-is there any place at Downtown Disney or right before you enter WDW that sells the books?

Pick a store - any store at Downtown Disney - and you will find WDW autograph books! The World of Disney - the largest Disney store in Downtown Disney - has them. Or you can get them at any of the gift shops that you might find in your on property resort or in front of the parks.

And you can hardly take a step inside ANY Disney park without finding them... Every shop or kiosk sells them.

They actually came out with some new ones. There is the traditional blue one with Mickey and gang on the front. It has lots of pages. They also have a lavender one with the princesses on the cover that has about 13 pages and the opposing pages has a plastic thingy for a picture. It is a bit more but really nice. The only problem is not enough pages. I have also seen a different style that comes with various characters in the gift shops at the resort.

Thank you so much-with only days left until we leave I was really regretting not buying them over internet ahead of time! Now I can breathe a sigh of relief knowing I can pick them up before being right inside park! :)

There is a possibility that you could see characters just outside the park, so having your autograph books and wide barreled pens before hand is a good idea!

Have fun!

Good idea to bring an extra pen and split the books/pen among a few adults in the party.

Be prepared as the characters can appear when you least expect them, so have books close at hand. I tended to put our 2 in my shorts side/back pocket and not deep in a bag.

Although the cast members with the characters tend to have extra pens, nothing worse when you get to the front and your pen runs out or you cant find the book/pen!

I am convinced that the adult enjoy the autograph collecting more than the kids!

If you go to MK first then I am sure you could get one at the TTC( or if you are onsite then get one at the resort).
