The bose speaker dock is what I wany for my IPOD.A goot set of headphones is a definite must.A good pair of speakers is also a must. After having an IPOD I could never live without it again.

We have the small speaker/dock thing that can be used for both the regular ipod and the ipod mini. We also have itrip for the car. We love the itrip, but if you live in a city you may not get great reception on it. We have no problem around where we live, but when we get near philly , it gets staticky.

I have the itrip too and it really is pretty amazing. I found a set of "tones" to play to the itrip which gave it more frequencies outside the norm (probably not entirely legal but given the low power of the device....). These new frequencies seem a lot less staticky and cleaner all round.

DC, which one did you get?

DS got the JVC alien donut speakers. We couldn't afford the Bose, although the sound is truly amazing. Car adapter would be nice. Also definately needs some kind of shock/scratch protection.

I was looking at that and thinking that DH would love one of those...
