We just found out we will be going to Disney the last week in January! We have never been in Orlando this time of year, and were wondering what the weather is like. We are planning on riding roller coasters at some of the other parks as well, and do you think it will be to cold going that fast outside with the wind? I don't know weather I'll need to pack shorts, or jackets and mittens. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. :)

Hey there I am new here and have been posting questions all over. We are going first time to WD leaving new years eve day and staying till Jan 14.
It snowed here yesterday in Ontario Canada so even if we have to wear a light jacket we will be thrilled.:)
We are driving there so my daughter who is 13 said we will look so funny arriving in snowsuits. I told her that in the two days it is going to take us to get there she can change.:) (we are not driving nonstop) we also have a 2 year old.

Here (http://www.weather.com/activities/other/other/weather/climo-dly.html?locid=32830&climoMonth=1) you will find the avareage temperatures for the month of January.

This winter has been warmer than average and all weather agencies are expecting the same trend to continue through January. The change in temperature from day to night sometimes is sharp (could be in the mid-70's in the afternoon and drop to mid-40's at night), so it might feel colder than it really is.

I always carry a wind breaker style jacket with medium padding just in case, the parks tend to get kinda windy...

It's been really mild for PA, we haven't had any snow yet! It is supposed to be around 60 degrees next week!
