Festival of Lights

My little houseguest and I went to the Festival of Lights last evening. I only had the digital with me, but did manage to get a few shots. Not the best, but they will give you an idea of the vastness of the display!

It looks quite lovely, all through this area of MGM Studios. It was still quite crowded, but the flow is much better done this way than in previous years.

There was snow falling and insulated mugs for sale! The mugs have battery powered flashy red lights! They'll make a nice souvenir.

The shots of the little one are of his reactions to the lights as they first came on. He was pretty amazed by it all!

Oh and no giggling at his hat! Auntie Tink is of the school that all babies need a hat regardless of season. This is the winter season hat that she bought for him, just for the occasion! Cute in'it?

Very cute but from the way he is muffled maybe I need to rethink the shorts that Ive just packed for my holiday in 18 days. :shrug:

He's gorgeous 'Tink and that face is a picture. I can't imagine being anywhere at the end of November without a winter hat so it doesn't look strange to me :D

man thats the one thing I missed about not going at christmas but going during the summer instead... the lights were so gorgeous

It was particularly cool that night. The shorts will still most likely be needed during the day though. (I wore shorts all day today).

I am not even going to try to not spoil him. It's impossible!

His eyes do look quite dark in these photos, but they are really blue. :yes: He is a beautiful kid!

Thanks for not laughing at the hat! I had a hard time finding one that was soft, and had a chin strap. What's with baby clothes anymore? Aren't any of them practical?

I'll try to get more shots of the Festival of Lights when I go again. It was a little hard to do with the holiday crowd, and the boy.
