I've seen the Pictures for CS, and am thinking about staying there now... Can you tell me the Pros and Cons?

CS is a lovely resort, very large, I preferred CBR but my granddaughter who was 8 at the time preferred CS. It has a really beautiful big pool with a lovely poolside bar and each set of rooms have a quiet pool. We stayed in the Casitas which were really close to the food hall and that is really the only drawback to this resort. The food hall is strange in as much as you are given a card when you go in and at each food counter that you buy something from, the CM will stamp your card so that when you leave, you present the card and the cashier tots up the bill. It took a bit of getting used to and I'm not sure if I've explained it very well. Bus service is good, some beautiful topiary in the Casitas but if you're in a resort that's far away from the food hall you may find it a bit of a walk. I notice you're looking at AKL as well and I have to be honest that I would go for that one and pay the extra $$$. This is such a beautiful resort (although not as nice as Beach Club in my mind). Hope this was some help to you.

We just returned from spending a wonderful 2 weeks in the CSR.
For us, the Pros are:
1 -Fantastic bus service. Rarely had to wait more than 10 mins for a bus and (DH) only had to stand once in two weeks.
2 - The property is absolutely beautiful. The evening walk around the lake is very romantic.
3 - The CMs are very friendly and helpful.
4 - There are not too many children so it is a good resort for adults.
Cons:
1 - As it is a conference hotel there are times when the food court is packed! But we overcame this by taking food back to the room. Certain areas can be noisy if there is a large group there. Other than having noisy people go past the room at night a couple of times we were not overly affected by the conventioneers.

Hope this was some help to you. I would love to stay at the AKL, and I believe it would be better, but I'm paying for it, and as a 14 year old with no regular job, its a bit hard for me.

How long would it take for you to save your pocket money, or try getting a job

Sorry I didn't realise you were only 14. Have you tried pleading, threatening, blackmailing, offering to do all the work for the next 2 years (you can forget when you get back). You will love CS, it is a lovely resort.
