It's worth wearing water shoes just to stop your feet burning on the hot floor when you are in a line. You do have to take your shoes off for the rides though.I wear them in the lazy river and nobody has ever stopped me.I find the floor in the lazy river wears the soles of your feet after a few laps.

another thing about water shoes is it get wicked hot on the pavement, so they're good not to burn your feet.

Hey, just curious. What do they do with your shoes if you have to take them off? Do they throw them down after you??

You hold onto them. Most I saw put their hands in the and crossed their arms.

I see the sense in not wearing the shoes, but either scenario seems kinda funny to me. I can't help seeing a mental picture....of the guy who holds his shoes having to search for them after the drop or the person who waits for them at the bottom..."here boy, here boy"....
