Okay, so Im a VERY big Disneyland Paris fan (have been to Califorinia's too), and my boyfriend and I are just starting to plan our first WDW holiday for November 2005 for 2 weeks, in one of the All Stars hotels (we can afford Animal Kingdom Lodge etc, but decided that just as a place to sleep, we can save the money for more spending money, which we'll have pleanty of anyway, lol! We're gonna save like mad!)...

...now I know Disneyland Paris back to front and inside out, and although I know WDW has better customer service, DLP is the most detailed and beautiful, and I'm worried that the park itself might disappoint me due to lack of detail, especially as I saw some of those awful tent style buildings housing its a small world etc in Fantasyland, it just looks very... funfair like, not very fantastical or detailed... is any of the rest of the park like this? Has Disneyland Paris spoiled me?

I agree with you that DLP is a bit more detailed than DW's Magic Kingdom but for me there is a feeling that I get at WDW that I don't get at DLP. It feels more magical to me  I think the fact that because of the size you can be completely immersed in Disney Magic, the weather is a big bonus too and everything is that better organised. Also the fact that most UKers go for two weeks you have more of a 'holiday' attitude :D I am sure that you won't be dissapointed :)

oh i love wdw.. there is a feeling you get there it's like you're a little kid again and nothing can bother you cause you're in a whole different world. It's amazing.
