Hi!
I have a vacation package scheduled for April 21-30, 2005. I was just wanting to know if the new Magic Your Way would effect my vacation package in any way?
Thanks! :overhere:

No it won't. You have the option of leaving everything as is, Disney will be honoring everything booked before this announcement. If you want to change it to the new packages you can do that in January

Do you think it would be worth my while to change to the new package? Also...if I keep the current package would I still have access to the extra morning and evening hours that they will be offering?
Thanks!

Having a package has no bearing on extra magic hours. To take part in those you just need to be a Disney Resort Guest and show your resort ID (in the morning at the gate to get in and for the evening to get a wristband)

I am new here. The Magic Your Way got me so excited, I had to join in the discussion.
Before I ask my question, i will give you some info.
We are going in Jan for the marathon. Arrive the 6th depart the 13th Staying off property until Monday when we Check in to Wilderness Lodge for the rest of out stay.
I have not bought our park tickets yet. I planned on buying AP's because we like going in and out of the parks and do so every day. And I am interested in the discounts available.
My question is, should I stick with this idea? or should I wait until Jan 2nd to buy the new Magic Your Way tickets? and if I wait, am I cutting it too close?
Help

:welcome: to the UOG! We're glad you decided to join our Happy Place
How long is your trip going to be for? Are you going back again within a year? If so, the AP could still make sense for you :)

We will be there for 8 days. I can always be talked into going back within a year! But my parents (also traveling with my sister) might not be able to go back within the year.

With the new prices, I don't know what the new "break even" time will be. It used to be 8 days..... Cinderella and Mickeymac (our resident Disney TAs) are at Disney for some seminars on the new packages. I would wait til they get back and throw all your questions at them :) They're both awesome and SO helpful!
