Long story short... Andrea my cousin absolutly LOVED this film, which meant that from the time she could say "sich" and crawl to where the DVD was until she was 3 1/2 I got to watch this film EVERY SUNDAY... sometimes even twice.

Well, its been about 6 months since she forgot about "sich" and started going for some boring characters with weird names like: Aurora, Ariel, and Belle...

Anyway, 3 days ago, a friend from work gave me the Lilo & Stitch CD.... I can't stop listening to it!... it brings such nice memories of Andrea in front of the TV doing Hawaiian dances, well, sort of, she could barely walk!! (the song at the beginning of the film, when Lilo is late for dance class)...

oh!! why do they grow up!! :sigh: I feel so old.. and she's not even my kid....

Heck Mari..I have that CD and I play it in my CAR! Full blast! I totally am in love with that CD. I've even put some of the songs with some slideshows that I've made for my DGD's Moms!

Isn't it funny, and a bit sad, how they grow up so quickly? I remember when my oldest DGD was only 2 or 3 years old. Her mommy (DD) and I went to my mom's house to visit, and DGD was sitting on the rug in front of me. She reached her hand up to me and said "Do you trust me?" Huh? "Do you trust me?" I took her hand and she pulled me down on the rug beside her and she started singing the words to "A Whole New World"! She knew every line! My mom and DD were stunned, and I still tear up thinking about it! Now she is 12 (going on 30...) and wouldn't dare be caught singing a "Disney" song!
