I kind of liked the '60s buildings but they are all pretty cool. Each with their own theme.

Which decade holds the most memories for you? Which one has the most nostalgic value? Choose whichever one that may be!

It's wicked fun to look at all the areas though. You'll be surprised at how much Pop Culture is really there!

I was in the Building 10 (one of the 70's buildings) and it was perfect. A 2 minute walk to the parking lot, a 2 minute walk to the main building and it was a standard room.

We stayed in the same building last Jan. It was perfect. I really liked the 70's theming. The giant Big Wheel was very cool. :)

We stayed in the 80's building that was closest to the bus stop & that location was pretty good. We had the computer pool on one side & the parking lot & bus stop/main building on the other side. We are 80's kids though so that made it particularly interesting. The previously mentioned 60's & 70's buildings are also great locations. Either way be sure you take some time to explore the whole resort. There are lots of fun nooks & crannies. We loved this resort. Very fun!

I wasn't fortunate to pick the area we were in. We were in the preferred, and we didn't get to chose 60s or 70s instead we got to pick what room we wanted that was available.

We just got back....were supposed to be in the 70's...but really...DISCO? I was so anti-disco there was no way!

We got put in the 50's...room 3135. Looked out at the lake and each night we walked about 15 feet to a bench and watched Illuminations! Also short walk to the main area and bus stop.

Oh...Tramp was outside the building and the poster beside the bed had many Disney items on it....Gus the mouse from Cinderella watched over Mom every night!

We were in the 50's building..room 1101 and Lady was right out our door! It was just fabulous. Right next to the food, court, store, lobby, and just a short walk to the parking lot. We got the room and building we wanted!!! Thank you thank you thank you!

I was at PC the same time as 2Meezers and her mom. Building 3 (signs say Building C) of the 50s, room 3417. It's on the 4th floor and overlooks Hourglass Lake (and the unfinished buildings, but they've been painted to blend with the landscape and really aren't an eyesore). Step outside and watch the EPCOT fireworks! :)

About 3 minutes or so to Centennial Hall and the 50s parking lot at my some what slow pace.

I absolutely think whatever decade holds the most memories for you is the one you should chose. I liked the 60's but the 70's was the best for me as that's when I was a child. The 80's just brought back memories of high school. Ugh, who needs that! LOL

Ok, I have no memories of the 50's, but it did have Lady and the Tramp. I picked that one for the DGD's. The 60's I have tons of memories of!

Fabulous pics SM thanks for sharing!!

One thing - is there music playing while you are there - is that themed to the decade?

Yes, all the music is themed to the period. I second the 50's location, for the fireworks and for the great music! :D I can't wait until they open the legendary years. :D

Great pics, SM! :D

You know, I knew you'd be excited... :hehe:

Seriously, it is a great resort for the kid in all of us. I just about died laughing when the Cast Members started doing the Hustle in the lobby...

The morning that I left the cast members were hula hooping in the lobby and some other cast members had kids outside with huge buckets of sidewalk chalk drawing some hopscotch squares so the kids could play. If I wasn's so sick at that point, I might have joined in.

I didn't select my room based on era, just location! I wanted quiet, away from the cheerleaders and the pool. This was the best location based on availability when I checked in. :)

Nowhere is far from the bus stop and Food Court. Choose the era you most liked. :D

We stayed in the 50's and we loved it! It was always very quiet, and it always felt like we had the pool to ourselves. The other pools where always more crowded than ours. It wasn't a far walk to the bus stops, food court/gift shop, and arcade. I loved it!
