Marriott Downtown Disney?

I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but a few years ago we stayed at a Marriott (Courtyard?) in DTD. I think it was by the Grovesnor. I've looked on the Mariott web site and around the DTD hotels and can't find it. Is it still there or did it switch hands? Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I believe there is still a Marriott Courtyard near DTD.

The hotel is currently closed and will re-open as a Holiday Inn :)

It's already opened as Holiday Inn. It opened last Feb (soemwhere around there). Apparently they had hurricane damage and have closed to fix themselves up a bit. As did Hotel Royal Plaza.

The Holiday Inn at Downtown Disney’s website says it is closed until spring for “remodelling” does anyone know when it will open. We are staying at the Hilton next door during Easter and are concerned about noise.

Thanks for your help but have you any idea when the work will be finished?

I know we will be out a lot of the time, but do not want to have building noise and traffic when we are having quiet days away from the theme parks.

I don't know. I would think that a lot would depend on how much damage there was from the various hurricanes and what kind of work is being done

I would contact the hotel direct about noise, I believe they are required to tell you if you ask if there will be any disruption.

WE stayed there in 2002 and didn't hear any noise.
